shades of blue

My discovery of brush tip markers heh. Also the pitfalls of not removing items from sketchbook before scanning them, hence the unpleasant shadow to the left of the piece. In truth this was just an excuse to play with the new marker and get a feel for it. Final verdict: I need many more.

Also a shout needs to be directed at one Jay Paulin from ink'd well comics for giving me some linkage which is much appreciated. There's a permanent link to ink'd well sitting over yonder to the right and anyone who happens upon me that wasn't directed here from there should go and check it out. Small publisher with some really interesting stuff both in print already and in the works. Go. Read. Give him your monies. It's worth it. Hopefully we'll be working on something in the near future together and then you will never hear the end of it from me. Internets, you have been warned.

What planets taste like

This was really quick and really fun to do. Also, the sharpie headache it incurred was catastrophic.

A classic twosome

Forget Batman and Robin. Wolverine and Jubilee, particularly back in the Jim Lee era, are the classic duo. Didn't bother coloring this one; I was just happy with how clean the line art came out. However, I'd love to send this to someone who actually knows a thing or three about photoshop to see how it would look with proper color treatment. Just sayin'

Chewing Sharpies

Chewing sharpies by definition. I need a new a new table, as opposed to the none that I currently have. Don't miss the old beast though.
